After landing, your meeting point depends on the airport and, at Charleroi, on your arrival terminal. For a TOMI TAXI Airport pickup, use these meeting points:

  • Brussels Airport – Zaventem (BRU): at Java Café in the Arrivals Hall. Your driver waits with a sign displaying your name.
  • Charleroi Airport (CRL), Terminal 1: at Starbucks.
  • Charleroi Airport (CRL), Terminal 2: by the lifts.

Your driver contacts you to coordinate the meeting. If you cannot find the driver, call and explain exactly where you are. If you have received different instructions for your booking, confirm the meeting point with the driver before moving elsewhere.

Before your flight: have the right information ready

Before your scheduled pickup, you will receive your assigned driver’s contact details. Save them on your phone so you can contact the driver directly after arrival. If someone else booked the transfer for you, ask them to forward the message containing the driver’s details. If you have not received these details before pickup, contact Tomi Taxi Airport using the contact information in your booking confirmation.

Check the details needed to arrange the correct transfer: BRU or CRL, your arrival date, flight number, passenger name and destination address. For an overnight flight, check the arrival date shown by the airline. Keep your confirmation and booking reference on your phone, together with the contact details supplied for your journey.

Have a charged phone that you can use after landing. If someone else booked the transfer, make sure you also have the meeting instructions and a way to call the driver. Tell the operator in advance about oversized luggage, pushchairs and any specific needs in your group.

BRU: meet your driver at Java Café

  1. After leaving the aircraft, follow the signs towards baggage reclaim. Complete the arrival checks required for your flight.
  2. Collect any checked luggage before entering the public Arrivals Hall. If you are still held up at a control or the baggage desk, tell the driver rather than saying you are ready for pickup.
  3. In the Arrivals Hall, go to Java Café. Look for the sign displaying the name used for your booking.
  4. If you cannot see the driver or are unsure which café to use, call from your current location. Say “BRU, Arrivals Hall” and describe a visible landmark beside you.
  5. Once you have met, go to the vehicle with the driver and check that all passengers and luggage in your group are present.

The meeting point is the specified café, rather than a boarding gate. To arrange your journey to or from Zaventem, see the Brussels Airport taxi service (BRU). The official Brussels Airport arrival guide explains the route from the aircraft through arrival checks and baggage reclaim.

CRL: distinguish Terminal 1 from Terminal 2

At Charleroi, saying only “I am at the airport” is not enough to locate each other. Identify your arrival terminal from your flight information and the signs around you. If the terminal recorded for your booking differs from where you have actually arrived, tell the driver before going elsewhere.

Arriving at Terminal 1: meet at Starbucks

  1. Complete your arrival formalities and collect your luggage.
  2. Go to Starbucks in Terminal 1 for your TOMI TAXI Airport meeting.
  3. Keep your phone accessible for the driver’s call. If you cannot find the driver, call and say “CRL, Terminal 1, Starbucks”. Confirm the exact landmark together before moving.
  4. Once you have met the driver, gather your passengers and luggage before going to the vehicle.

Arriving at Terminal 2: meet by the lifts

  1. Complete your arrival formalities and collect your luggage.
  2. Go to the lifts in Terminal 2 for your TOMI TAXI Airport meeting.
  3. If more than one lift access makes the location unclear, stay by an identifiable landmark and call the driver. Say “CRL, Terminal 2” and describe what you can see so you can agree the exact spot.
  4. Do not head to Starbucks in Terminal 1 without first clarifying the meeting. Once you have met the driver, go to the vehicle with your group.

To prepare this journey, see the Charleroi Airport taxi service (CRL). Use the airport’s arrival information to check the terminal assigned to your flight. Your TOMI TAXI Airport meeting point remains the one agreed with your driver.

Phone contact: what should you tell the driver?

The driver contacts you, and you can also call to help arrange the meeting. Start with the airport, your terminal if you are at CRL, and your landmark. Give the booking name and explain whether you have collected all your luggage. This is more useful than saying only “I am outside” or “I have arrived”.

“Hello, this is [name], booking [reference]. I am at [BRU / CRL], [terminal if CRL], beside [landmark]. I have collected my luggage / I am still waiting for one bag. Could you confirm where I should meet you?”

If you do not have the driver’s contact details, use the contact information in your booking confirmation to request them and clarify the meeting point.

If you cannot find your driver

  1. Check that you are at the correct airport and meeting point: Java Café at BRU, Starbucks at CRL Terminal 1, or the lifts at CRL Terminal 2.
  2. Stay by that landmark instead of searching multiple exits or changing terminals without letting the driver know.
  3. Call the driver with your booking name and reference. Describe your position and say whether your group is ready to leave.
  4. If you cannot get an answer, use the contact details in your booking confirmation. Explain that you are already at the meeting point and are trying to reach your driver.
  5. If you agree a different meeting point by phone, clearly confirm the new landmark before moving.

Luggage, children and a slower arrival

Landing on time does not mean you are immediately ready to leave the terminal. Collecting a bag, completing checks or moving through the airport with children can take time. Tell the driver if these steps delay your arrival at the meeting point; explain what you still need to do rather than giving an uncertain estimate.

If a bag is missing or damaged, contact the baggage service responsible for your flight and tell the driver that you are dealing with it. For the transfer, mention any oversized items and keep your group together before going to the vehicle. If your luggage or passenger numbers differ from the booking, contact TOMI TAXI Airport to check the journey arrangements.

Delay, replacement flight or change of airport

Your flight number allows TOMI TAXI Airport to monitor the arrival and coordinate pickup if the timing changes. If the airline moves you to another flight, provide the new flight number, arrival date and airport through the contact details for your booking. If you already have the driver’s contact details, also call to explain the change.

A diversion from BRU to CRL, or the reverse, changes the meeting location: do not assume that pickup at the other airport has already been arranged. Ask for confirmation before moving. For the waiting conditions that apply to your journey, refer to your booking and clarify any unusual situation; flight monitoring does not replace that conversation.

Before going to the vehicle

  • You have met the driver and confirmed the booking name.
  • All passengers in your group are present.
  • You have collected your luggage or explained the situation to the driver.
  • Your destination address and any important changes have been clarified.

Choose the service for the airport where you actually land: Brussels Airport taxi or Charleroi Airport taxi. For the meeting itself, keep the airport, terminal and agreed landmark clear when speaking to your driver.
